I created this Libra artwork as a visual representation of the qualities traditionally associated with this fascinating sign: balance, compassion, diplomacy, justice, clarity, peace, harmony, beauty, truth and love.
The Scales are held evenly, surrounded by celestial imagery, water, flowers and light :creating a visual reminder that balance is not something we find once and then keep forever.
It is something we continually create.
Perhaps Libra's greatest lesson is not “keep everything peaceful.”
Perhaps it is:
“Find the balance that allows you to remain fully yourself.”

Libra is often described as the sign of balance, harmony and partnership: but there is much more to Libra than simply wanting everything to be peaceful.
Represented by the Scales, Libra invites us to look at life from more than one perspective. It asks us to consider what is fair, what is true, what is beautiful, and what creates harmony without asking us to lose ourselves in the process.
Libra is an Air sign, traditionally associated with thought, communication, ideas and perspective. Its energy can encourage us to step back from an immediate reaction and see the bigger picture.
But balance doesn't necessarily mean that everything is equal.
Sometimes balance means recognising when something has become one-sided. Sometimes it means finding your voice after keeping the peace for too long. And sometimes it means learning that harmony with others begins with harmony within yourself.
